DESCRIPTION:BOSCO BOISE OPEN STUDIO TOURELI CRAVENOctober 10th | 10:00am – 6:00pmfree \n\n\n\n\nSurel’s Place honors the legacy of artist Surel Mitchell (a founding member of BOSCO) by offering her home and studio to artists of promise\, and of renown\, for month-long residencies and professionally supported art events. In this inspiring live/work space\, artists of all disciplines are given time and freedom to reflect\, create\, and share their work with the community. This year\, Surel’s Place celebrates it’s 15th season\, and will have Eli Craven in residence during the BOSCO Open Studios Tour. \n\n\n\n\nBoise Open Studios Collective Organization features over 125 Treasure Valley artists working in painting\, sculpture\, photography\, ceramics\, printmaking\, jewelry\, textiles\, mosaic\, collage\, assemblage\, digital images\, and glass. Our main event\, the Open Studios Tour\, occurs during the first two weekends of October each year\, with half of the artists opening their studios on the first weekend and the rest on the second. This event aims to enhance public understanding of the artistic process\, foster connections\, and build community.
