Face of the Mountain

“My work looks at the collision and dance of seemingly opposing forces – natural and constructed, human and fabricated, and the impact of built structures on creatures that have called a place “home” before we did. The residency at Surel’s Place allowed me time to visit and join The World Center for Birds of Prey and witness the beauty and intensity of the Peregrine Falcon in person. She still dances in my memory and imagination.”
