Biography
Mixed media artist Nicole Hitchcock grew up in Northern California and now lives and works in Eagle, Idaho. Her passion for visual art began at a young age and at eight years old Hitchcock was given the opportunity to participate in her elementary school talent show. She opted to perform backstage as the event’s makeup artist. This experience set her foundation as an artist throughout her early years as she focused primarily on hairdressing, creative photography, and editorial-fashion work. Hitchcock moved forward with experimenting in fine art in various mediums, pushing herself to expand and began flourishing as a mixed media and resin artist. Hitchcock’s intention is that the observer of her works become momentarily lost in color and texture and are reminded of their own connection to the world.
