Rachael Mayer
Residency Year: 2020Biography
Rachael Mayer is a fiber artist based out of Boise, Idaho. During quarantine and self-isolation she has dyed thousands of yards of yarn which she will use to create her installation. Normally, this work would be inspired by travel and exterior landscapes, but Mayer has adapted to focus on interior spaces from her home environment. Pictured here is a fiber “sketch” by Mayer on the gallery wall at Surel’s Place.
