Marne Elmore is featured in the community room. Open during regular business hours except during classes.
Our very own Marne Elmore is featured for the month of December featuring her printmaking. In her artist statement, she mentions the value of the hand when it comes to labor, craft, and creativity. We see this all the time in the work she does to support the artists and work at Surel’s Place. The show opened at the last First Friday and because Marne is so modest, we knew very little about it and were blown away. After all the hours she spends supporting other artists, it is wonderful to see her work in the spotlight.
