Biography
Kara Yannon (MO) is a songwriter and choir teacher whose artistic voice has grown at the intersection of composition and education. Writing songs began as a personal practice, a way of shaping feeling into melody, but teaching reshaped how she understood music entirely.
During her residency, She will explore music as a living language through immersive, community-based compositional practice. She will host modal tonal “sound baths” (beginning with Lydian) featuring guided audiation, vocal layering, and spontaneous harmonic dialogue.
