Surel’s Place Named a Lost Grove “Powerful Pints” Recipient for 2023

Who doesn’t want an excuse to drink great beer!

Surel’s Place is grateful to our friends at Lost Grove Brewing for adding our nonprofit to next year’s Powerful Pints recipients.

This program features a worthy nonprofit on a special day each month, and the socially conscious B-Corp donates a full 50% of their taproom proceeds to the cause!

Our day will come in February, just in time for some wintry porters and stouts and Lost Grove’s signature barrel-aged brews (beautifully designed this year by their artist-in-residence and our Garden City Placemaking Fund artist Miguel Almieda).

We’ll let you know as soon as we have a date – and hope to raise a glass with you in support of the arts and artists!

Did you know that you can support Surel’s Place every time you buy groceries or household goods and more?

We are big fans of our local grocers and shops (we couldn’t live without Roots Zero Waste Market down the street!), but we know there are times we all turn to the big guys. Here’s the good news – some of these big guys are engaged locally and want to do their part in supporting nonprofits like us!

If you set your Amazon Smile beneficiary to Surel’s Place, Amazon will donate .5% of all of your eligible purchases to supporting arts and artists through us.

And if you buy grocery and home essentials from any Fred Meyer – including the one in Garden City – you can support Surel’s Place artists with every purchase through their Community Rewards program. Just link your Fred Meyer reward card to Surel’s Place.
